Barbecued Spoon Burgers
- Ingredients:
- 1-1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 1 carrot, diced
- 1/2 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup catsup
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 6 oz can tomato paste
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp mustard
- Hamburger buns, mashed potatoes, noodles or rice, for serving
1. Brown ground beef in a hot skillet and discard excess fat.
2. Place all ingredients in a slow cooker. Stir thoroughly, cover, and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
3. Spoon into split warmed hamburger buns or serve over mashed potatoes, noodles or rice.
