Hot Spinach Salad

  • Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 5 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • Dash Crystal hot sauce
  • 1 bunch spinach, torn into pieces
  • 2 cooked eggs, chopped

1. Cook bacon until well done. Add chopped onion and cook until tender.

2. Mix brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and Crystal hot sauce and add to bacon and onion in hot pan.

3. Toss pan mixture with spinach and chopped egg in a large bowl, then invert the pan over the salad for 2 minutes.
