This recipe also works great when cooked in a covered barbecue grill. But if the barbecue grill happens to be attached to a boat, please make sure it is fastened to the rail securely, so that the cooked cobbler does not take a spin and end up in the vinyl raft tied next to the boat. This is especially true if the cobbler happens to be made out of fresh-picked blackberries. Come to think of it, it's also true if you happen to be cooking a tri-tip roast, but we won't go there!

Peach Cobbler

  • Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 package frozen peaches, thawed
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 recipe Bisquick dumplings, uncooked

1. Mix first 3 ingredients together, then add peaches.

2. Place mixture in a 9x9x2" glass baking dish and dot with butter.

3. Top with dumpling mixture and bake at 325 degrees for 35 minutes.
