- Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/8 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1 package frozen peaches, thawed
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 recipe Bisquick dumplings, uncooked
This recipe also works great when cooked in a covered barbecue grill. But if the barbecue grill happens to be attached to a boat, please make sure it is fastened to the rail securely, so that the cooked cobbler does not take a spin and end up in the vinyl raft tied next to the boat. This is especially true if the cobbler happens to be made out of fresh-picked blackberries. Come to think of it, it's also true if you happen to be cooking a tri-tip roast, but we won't go there!
1. Mix first 3 ingredients together, then add peaches.
2. Place mixture in a 9x9x2" glass baking dish and dot with butter.
3. Top with dumpling mixture and bake at 325 degrees for 35 minutes.
